Honoring a person who has put their life’s work into your organization is not only a great thing to do for that person, it also celebrates the organization and all of the other people who are currently giving their life to the company.
There are many different approaches which one can take when planning a retirement party, most importantly it should be an event that celebrates the achievement of the retiree. The activities and entertainment should be indicative of the things that person likes, and also be of value to those who are attending the event!
Types of Retirement Party Activities
From formal galas, sit down dinners, stage presentations, and even a “This is your life” gameshow – we can plan and manage all the details. In some cases, when the person retiring is known as the office “jokester” or “prankster” a Comedy Roast is in order. Determining the right type of event, and how to best celebrate an individual person’s retirement can sometimes take close interaction with your staff who know the individual well, and can share their experiences working together.
